Responsibilities

In this role, you would be responsible for:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through business analysis and research and building new client relationships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of insurance services and solutions offered by the Company to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Market Research: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update a sales pipeline, tracking all sales activities and providing accurate forecasts to management.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and targets set by the company.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of all sales activities, including contact information, sales calls, and opportunities.
  • Company Representation: Attend conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote the firm’s risk mitigation services.
  • Willingness to Travel: As the role requires close co-operation with the UK headquarters, there would be occasional trips to the London office.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Law, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Greek in both written and verbal communication.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and develop strategic business plans.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • License of conducting general insurance business by the Insurance Institute of Cyprus is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the European legal or business environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
